Kaela Whitt is a paralegal at Keegan Law, where she brings sharp attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a deep commitment to supporting clients through some of the most difficult times in their lives. Kaela joined the firm in February 2025, and has been an essential part of its mission to provide thoughtful, people-centered criminal defense.

A San Diego native, Kaela graduated summa cum laude from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and a minor in Political Science. While at SDSU, she was an active member of Empowering Women in Law and the Pre-Law Society, reflecting her passion for equity, leadership, and the law. She earned her Paralegal Certificate from the University of San Diego, equipping her with the technical and practical tools to support attorneys and clients with care and precision.

Kaela’s path to law has been shaped by grit and perseverance. She worked full-time throughout her entire college career—first as a seasonal sales associate and eventually rising to the role of store manager across multiple retail companies. With over four years of experience in management and customer service, Kaela learned how to lead with empathy, stay calm under pressure, and meet people where they are—skills she now brings to her legal work every day.
